Profound Studies - Health Benefits of Tea

Mainly based on cancer research, scientists have discovered that mutagenic and genotoxic are the cause of toxic build up in humans. Scientists have also learned to distinguish between agents that modify DNA and generate mutations. Such materials or synthetic chemicals are called mutagenic and genotoxic. On the other hand, there are chemicals or situations that enhance toxic build up in the body.

The pathogenesis of cardiovascular disease is thought to involve a major oxidative component, primarily in terms of lipid oxidation and it has been suggested that dietary antioxidants, e. g. flavonoids from tea, could offer protective benefits.
